Recipe of Love puts players in the fast-paced environment of a New York restaurant. It tells the story of a gifted chef who just moved to the city for work. There is instant conflict as two brother employees and coworkers of the chef introduce a rivalry to see who can get the chef’s attention first. The rivalry is played out as a series of quick, competitive tasks in the game. An example would be having the chef learn how to make a perfect noodle dish or decorate a cake with tons of detail. Players must strategize how to deal with the romantic interests of the two brothers, as well as deal with the professional stress of the environment of the restaurant. The story plays on the ideas and themes of career vs. romance in a fast, competitive environment.

The plot focused on a missing partner is the most complex of the three, beginning with the disappearance of a groom on his wedding day. The story jumps several years later, covering the protagonist’s work life as she adapts to a new workplace. Soon, she bumps into Jack, a powerful individual who is in a relationship with the boss of the protagonist. The story circles around the fact that Jack is the spitting image of the man who disappeared a few years back. The player has to make the moral judgment of whether to respect Jack’s current life and not look into the man’s identity, or to look into Jack’s identity and the reason behind his disappearance. It is heavily focused on how individual choices impact the protagonist’s life, as each choice alters her memories, job, and overall psychological being.
The combination of ambition and the occult is present in Vampyra. The main character is a gifted writer who has struggled to find success in her field. Even though she has dedicated a major part of her life to her craft, her ambition has not been fully rewarded. The story takes a turn when a new, unusual, and ironic world is introduced to her, and along the way, offers to bring her to the pinnacle of her profession. But, this world is occupied by a secret society, and in order to succeed, she will have to engage in a love affair with the leader of the society. There is also the story Princess by Accident. It features a woman who is on the verge of achieving her aspirations of becoming an actress. But, she abandons all that when she accidentally meets a racing champion who is also muscular. The player has to determine if it is proper to juggle all of this and if love should take precedence over a burgeoning career.
